BORNEO NATURE TOURS SDN BHD is an inbound tour operator specializing in nature and adventure tour programmes in Sabah. The company, in operations since 1996, is a subsidiary of the Sabah Foundation (Yayasan Sabah) Group of Companies.
 
Borneo Nature Tours has dedicated offices in Lahad Datu and Kota Kinabalu to support her operations on the East and West coasts of Sabah. In our efforts as Malaysian Borneo’s Preferred Nature and Adventure Tour Operator, we are proud to have an inspiring team which aims to exceed our clients’ expectation in service delivery, product innovation and professionalism so as to make each and every stay in Sabah a truly unique and memorable experience.
 
Borneo Nature Tours also operates the award-winning Borneo Rainforest Lodge nestled in a magnificent setting alongside the Danum River flowing through Sabah's largest protected Lowland Rainforest - Danum Valley Conservation Area with 43,800 hectares of pristine and undisturbed tropical flora and fauna in the eastern part of Sabah.  This pristine rainforest is also home to more than 340 species Birds, 120 species of Mammals, 72 species of Reptiles, 56 species of Amphibians and a staggering 200 species of plants per hectare.
 
Our Lodge has only 31 individual chalets with fans and en-suite bathrooms, accommodating up to only 60 guests at any one time on a Full-Board basis. 
 
From Borneo Rainforest Lodge, we feature adventure treks into the Maliau Basin Conservation Area which is deemed the “Lost World” of Sabah.
 
Borneo Nature Tours also offers a new and exciting 4WD tour filled with educational and cultural experiences.  In the course of this exciting tour, we will collaborate with designated local schools in the remote areas where we offer our guests the opportunity to interact with our local people and intricate with charitable community projects as part of the tour.
